It is a common and severe side effect after brain surgery. Effective treatments for the prevention of delirium are not available. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Delirium is induced by stress and anxiety, particularly in patients with an affected brain. Music has proven to decrease stress and anxiety around surgical procedures.
