Hoe effectief precies, dat wisten we nog niet. Een maat die voor farmacologische middelen, oftewel medicijnen, vaak wordt gebruikt om de effectiviteit uit te drukken, is de Number Needed to Treat. Dit getal geeft aan hoeveel mensen je met een bepaald medicijn moet behandelen om \u00e9\u00e9n pati\u00ebnt van de klachten af te helpen. Dit geeft een realistischer beeld van de effectiviteit van een behandeling en is vaak makkelijker te bespreken in de spreekkamer dan andere statistische getallen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jetske Stoop en Jorrit Verhoeven verzamelen daarom alle studies naar muziek en angst om deze Number Needed to Treat te berekenen.
